A Nice Jewish Husband

This project was done under the mentorship of Stefan Sagmeister. The goal of the project was to touch someone's heart. I decided to touch my mother's heart by staging a wedding to a nice Jewish man. The starting point was to find my groom. The search was turning to Craigslist with a personal add; "Looking for a Nice Jewish man to "marry" me." The request was vague and the results many. From the over 50 men who were willing to participate in this project, my mother chose my husband. A wedding was staged and photographed with her. Collateral materials were created such as a singular wedding invitation, molded and etched into chocolate, which was sent to my mother. After the selection/wedding process was over I present my mother with a wedding album I made and bound for her.
