The Shirt Project
______

Rich Watts and Louise Ma received the Rhoda Lubalin Fellowship from the Cooper Union in 2008. They went on to create the Shirt Project with the funding. Each shirt was printed with diagrams that relayed information from a recent news story. Topics ranged from the monks’ uprising in Myanmar to Madonna turning fifty in 2008. Rich and Louise designed the initial 5 shirts and asked myself and some other friends to contribute to the last shirt project titled "Old News."
